Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay runs along the course of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries and examines the first settlement phase of the Antonians in Brescia and their relations with the bishops of the city. A large group of unpublished papal letters is analyzed, found at the local State Archives, which are also transcribed in the Appendix. There are bubbles concerning the begging and the major privileges of the Order, issued by the popes John XXII, Martin V, Eugene IV.
