Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Education is a crossroads of complex challenges, in which teachers develop a range of skills and operate different forms of mediation, drawing on a personal and professional background and letting themselves be guided by significant pedagogical orientations, which often remain latent. Retracing the thought of great pedagogical teachers such as Danilo Dolci, Paolo Freire, Alberto Manzi and Don Lorenzo Milani, a pedagogical framework is offered thanks to which to re-read the experiences of school accompaniment through which specific knowledge is deepened, tested methods that renew teaching practice and found common inspiring principles that guide pedagogical choices. Teachers, managers, educators, pedagogists will find in these pages significant contents and precious stimuli to rethink the school today in the direction of the protection of rights and justice, the reinterpretation of changing scenarios, the promotion of the human, through the use of word and the refinement of knowledge.
