Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay places the Nazi musical Die Frau meiner Träume in its production context and in the scenario of the war years, of which he is the son and emblem. It retraces the divistic icon of the protagonist, Marika Rökk, and analyzes the stylistic work and the actor, dance and singing performances, to try to understand how Nazism has been able to exploit the charm of the great popular genres and build a relationship of complicity with the general public.
