Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay considers the two phases in the life of Frederick I Barbarossa's diploma for Assisi: that of the moment of production and that of insertion in the register of documents prepared by the newborn municipal institutions. We propose some corrections of the text published by the MGH compatible with the local toponymy.
