Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The review concerns a volume that offers a broad overview of the possible ideas for a global ethic and for a moralization of economic relations. The reader is offered significant indexes of the efforts made by a plurality of subjects to guide the phenomena of globalization in an ethical and solidaristic direction. The review highlights how various contributions refer to the importance of cultural identity and the importance of preserving it in an era of globalization. The volume significantly helps us to understand how the apparent "neutral" character of international economic law with respect to morals (secular or religious) does not mean that ethical claims, with roots in the ethics, cannot be taken into consideration. cultural and religious identity of peoples, nor that it should be excluded that these latter may one day become a priority.
